Police seek info on overnight shooting in Clarington

Durham Police yesterday said two males and one female are recovering after being shot overnight in Bowmanville.

On Sunday, June 2 at about midnight, members of East Division responded to a report of someone being shot in the area of Concession Street East and Mearns Avenue in Bowmanville.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre and the third was transported to a local area hospital. All injuries are considered to be non-life threatening, said a police report.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Unit as well as the Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene and maintain carriage of the investigation.
