How many HTA offences could this G1 driver rack up?

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers stopped a G1 driver late last weekend, and had to take a deep breath before charging the motorist for a slew of traffic offences.

“G1 driver arrested/charged in Port Perry, said an alert from DRPS North Division on Thursday.

“Driving while prohibited (Can), suspended (Ont) x 4, pass on right, disobey sign, insecure load, fail to display two plates and other HTA and CC offences,” said the alert.

The officers said the vehicle was impounded for 180 days.

A day earlier, DRPS Traffic Services Enforcement Officers were out on Pickering Concession Road 9 in Balsam.

This driver (image below) was caught going 104 kmh in a posted 60 kmh zone.

Another 14-day impound and a 30-day driving licence suspension with multiple charges being laid, police said.
