Police want your help in solving these three crimes

Durham Police are looking for your help in solving three crimes that have taken place in the region.

In the first case, they are looking for a suspect wanted in a Break-and-Enter at a Dollar Store in Ajax.

On Sunday, October 8 at about 10 am, members of West Division responded to a break-and-enter call at the Your Dollarstore located at 105 Bayly Street West.

A male had broken into the store overnight and attempted to steal cash from the register. The male was unsuccessful and caused property damage in the process, said a police statement.

The suspect (image above) is described as male, White, 5’10”, approximately 40-50 years-old, with a medium build, and a dark-coloured beard. He was wearing a light-coloured Under Armour hoodie, black jeans, dark-coloured Adidas running shoes, and a baby blue coloured Puma backpack.

Garage Break-and-Enter

Police are also looking for a suspect wanted after a residential garage break-and-enter in Oshawa a few months ago.

On Thursday, August 17 at around 3:55 pm, a male broke into a residential garage in the area of Rimosa Court and Monique Street. The male stole a black CCM brand bicycle.

The suspect is described as male, White, 25-35 years-old, with dark hair, and a dark beard. He was wearing a black jacket, white shorts, and red shoes. Image available at www.drps.ca.

Who shot at Whitby home?

Durham Police are looking for any information on who shot at a Whitby home after a bullet hole was found in its front door.

On Wednesday, November 8 at about 8:30 pm, members of Central West Division responded to reports of gun shots in the area of Lake Ridge Road and Peleshok Drive.

Police arrived on scene and did not locate any vehicles or persons of interest in the area. A search of the residence revealed a bullet hole through the front door. There were no physical injuries reported.
