Proactive foot patrol arrests 64-year old drug trafficker

A 64-year-old male is facing drug charges after being arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On Tuesday, October 31, members of the Central East Division Downtown Foot Patrol were conducting proactive policing in the area of Centre Street South and Bagot Street in Oshawa when they observed a known male who was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The male was taken into custody without incident. A search of the male revealed drug paraphernalia and numerous drugs, including fentanyl, with an estimated street value of more than $6,400, police said.

The suspect of No Fixed Address was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
