According to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) a male and female are facing several charges following the conclusion of Project Atlantis, a drug investigation that located multiple drugs, cash, and a prohibited weapon in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, August 12, members of the Central East Community Resource Unit concluded Project Atlantis and executed a search warrant on a temporary make-shift residence in the area of Bond Street West and McMillan Drive.
A male and female were located and taken into custody without incident. A search of the temporary residence located several drugs, including: fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, Hydromorphone, and Dilaudid, a quantity of Canadian and U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia, and a prohibited Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).
The male, age 45 of No Fixed Address and a female, age 41 also of No Fixed Address, were charged and held for a bail hearing. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
