The City of Oshawa is inviting residents to get a behind-the-scenes look at its public works operations during a new family-friendly event, Public Works at Work: Trucks, Tools and More!
It is set to take place on Thursday, May 22, from 4:30 pm to 8 pm at the Consolidated Operations Depot, located at 199 Wentworth Street East.
Organized in celebration of National Public Works Week (May 18–24), the event will give community members a chance to explore the city’s operations up close. Activities include facility tours, a showcase of city trucks and equipment, a dedicated family zone, and food trucks on site. Additional entertainment and hands-on activities will also be available throughout the evening.
The City of Oshawa acknowledged Oshawa Power as the presenting sponsor of the event, and Circular Materials as the sponsor of the family zone.
