On August 11, Durham Regional Police got a call for a stolen 2015 silver Dodge Ram pickup truck that was near Port Perry near Scugog Line 3/Simcoe today at 10am. A 9-month old Australian Sheppard puppy named Opal was inside the truck when it was stolen.
The police then confirmed that the stolen truck and stolen puppy were located soon after, thanks to a tip from a community member. The puppy has been re-united with its owners.
