A paid-entry event at Ajax Fairgrounds today (Saturday, September 26) will result in a road closure on Audley Road and no parking on one side of 11 streets to assist in managing parking congestion at the Audley Recreation Centre.
The general admission price for the Kulture Series is $97. The event is being held at Ajax Fairgrounds.
The town said effective noon (12 pm) today:
- Audley Road will be closed northbound from Rossland Road to Williamson Drive.
- Audley Recreation Centre patrons should access the facility by travelling southbound on Audley Road from Taunton Road and entering via the Williamson Drive entrance.
It said this closure will impact all drop-in and registered programs running from 12 to 9 pm.
Discourage Vehicle Traffic
“To support these car-free events and to discourage vehicle traffic as well as inappropriate parking in the adjacent neighbourhood, the Town of Ajax will be implementing temporary parking restrictions that may affect your street,” said the town.
Temporary ‘no parking’ signs will be installed on one side of specific streets (see list below). While the signs will remain in place for a period before and after the event, enforcement will only be in effect during the event.

By-law Enforcement
Town by-law officers and security personnel will be present before and during the event to ensure compliance. Vehicles not adhering to the restrictions may be ticketed or towed. While restrictions will be lifted immediately after the event, signage will be removed as soon as possible.
The town reminded that the standard three-hour on-street and other parking regulations remain in effect throughout the adjacent neighbourhood.
