Jack Frost has come in early this year. Environment Canada has issued a yellow alert to the Northern Durham region for frost.
The frost is expected to be patchy and to occur for Friday morning in the areas of Uxbridge and Beaverton.
Environment Canada states that damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible.
Residents are urged to use preventative measures to protect cold-sensitive plants, trees, and crops. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.
