A vehicle collision has damaged the exterior wall of the community centre located at the Uxbridge Arena.
The collision took place at about 7:30 pm on September 23.
The community center is closed until further notice due to the damage on the building’s exterior wall, said the township.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and that section of the building was vacant at the time of the incident, it said.
The building has been secured, and structural inspections are taking place to determine the extent of the damage. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
Regularly scheduled arena programming is unaffected, and the main arena area remains open. All renters impacted by today’s Community Centre closure have been notified.
