A verbal road rage fight escalated to one man pointing a firearm at another in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, June 17, around 5:05 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Ritson Road North and Taunton Road East.
The suspect and victim were involved in a verbal road rage altercation when the suspect pointed a firearm toward the victim and made threats, before leaving the area. Officers arrived on scene and quickly located and arrested the suspect without incident. The firearm was later confirmed to be an imitation pistol.
The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
The 26-year old from Clarington was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
