‘Safety is my Goal’ driver caught 41kmh over speed limit

A driver, who was ostensibly spreading awareness about speeding, has been caught doing 41kmh above the speed limit.

The unnamed person had large stickers on the back of the vehicle declaring public awareness slogans such as ‘Slow Down’ and ‘Safety is My Goal’.

However, alert officers from Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) East Division, found the driver not practicing what it was preaching.

Caught doing 41kmh over – 91 in a 50 zone, with a bumper sticker that reads ‘SAFETY IS MY GOAL’, said a DRPS tweet yesterday.

DRPS did not provide any further details.
