Durham Police are investigating after gunshots were heard outside a plaza in Oshawa.
On Thursday, October 3 at 10:30 pm, members of Central East Division were called to the plaza at Rossland Road and Wilson Street for reports of an armed person.
A nearby resident initially reported hearing several gunshots coming from the plaza. Several other witness also reported hearing gunshots in the area and police located several shotgun shell casings on the bike path east of the plaza.

Earlier, police said there were no reported injuries.
