Shot victim fighting for life + Pickering collision

A man is fighting for his life following a shooting yesterday at an Oshawa location, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

A brief alert from the police said officers were looking for the suspect.

“There is a large police presence in the area of Ritson Road North and Beatrice Street ast following a shooting,” police said.

“One male victim has been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Suspect remains outstanding. Updates to follow,” police added.

Pickering Collision

DRPS yesterday said there was a road closure in Pickering.

Westbound Bayly Street was closed at St Martins Drive for a collision investigation.

The street was reopened after the investigation was completed.
