Shots fired in Pickering, no update on Oshawa shooting

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said officers are searching for at least one suspect following a Saturday night shooting in Pickering.

However, there was no update on a Sunday night shooting in Oshawa which left the victim in a life threatening condition (see below).

On Saturday, June 13 at about 2:15 am, members of West Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Dunbarton Road and Dunchurch Street. Police received reports of several gun shots heard in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of gunfire.

No injuries have been reported to police.
