Beginning from today, Monday October 27, Metrolinx is expanding GO Transit service by adding new train trips on the Lakeshore East line to support growing regional demand.
“Starting on October 27, Metrolinx is adding six new rush hour trips on the Lakeshore East line,” reminded.
Westbound Trains
- A new trip will depart Durham College Oshawa GO at 6:23 am, making all station stops and arriving at Union Station at 7:27 am.
- A new trip will depart Whitby GO at 6:48 am, making all station stops and arriving at Union Station at 7:47 am.
- A new trip will depart Whitby GO at 7:48 am, making all station stops and arriving at Union Station at 8:47 am.
Eastbound Trains
- A new trip will depart Union Station at 4:13 pm, making all station stops and arriving at Whitby GO at 5:10 pm.
- A new trip will depart Union Station at 4:43 pm, making all station stops and arriving at Whitby GO at 5:40 pm.
- A new trip will depart Union Station at 5:13 pm, making all station stops and arriving at Whitby GO at 6:10 pm.
Metrolinx said it is also adjusting schedules to better reflect actual travel times.
For exact trip departure and arrival times, customers are encouraged to check schedules in advance on the GO Transit website and plan their trip ahead of time.
