Small plane crashes into Lake Scugog, two pilots safe

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced that a small plane had crashed into Lake Scugog.

Officers from DRPS North Division, with assistance of our Marine Unit, are responding to Port Perry after a plane crashed into Lake Scugog, said a brief tweet.

It appears that the two pilots have made it out safely. Transport Canada has been advised, it added.

No further details were provided till late last night.
