Something the police could see + something they couldn’t

It seemed like it was a day of ‘I Spy’ for stalwarts of the Durham Regonal Police Service (DRPS) yesterday.

Early morning began with a phenomenal view of the skies over northern Durham.

Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) could be clearly seen colouring the still dark sky, especially over the Township of Brock.

For our benefit, DRPS North Division officers out on patrol spotted the aurora borealis and took photographs.

Northern Lights are caused when the sun sends out flares towards the Earth.

I can’t see you

However, they were not so lucky with the driver of this vehicle (image below).

“If we can’t see you, it’s illegal!” said North Division officers.

They said the driver was charged for window tint.
