A woman was in serious condition after a stabbing incident at a Pickering home yesterday morning.
She was rushed to a Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man has been taken into custody.
It is believed that no one else was involved in the domestic dispute.
The incident happened near Valley Ridge Crescent ad Thicket Crescent.
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers from the West Division responded to a serious stabbing at a residential home near Valley Ridge Crescent and Thicket Crescent in Pickering, said a police statement.
“Female taken to a Toronto trauma centre with life threatening injuries. One male arrested. No public safety concerns at this time,” it said.
No further details were released. Investigation is continuing.
