Driver of crashed car airlifted to Toronto hospital

A 32-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries after a single motor vehicle collision in Uxbridge.

On Tuesday, May 10 at about 7:55 pm, members of North Division and West Division were called to Brock Road south of Webb Road, for a single motor-vehicle collision. The driver of a silver Dodge Journey was travelling southbound on Brock Road when the vehicle left the roadway.

The driver was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.

Motorists were asked to take alternate routes as Brock Road was closed from Uxbridge Pickering Townline to Webb Road.

Police also redirected traffic to the west as Uxbridge Concession Road 6 was closed from Uxbridge Pickering Townline to Allbright Road.
