Stunt driving at 120 kmh in a 50 kmh zone

We guess if the roads are clear and smooth,  the car is powerful, and there’s not a cop in sight, there is some temptation to see how fast the car can go?

Well, apparently, one driver seemed to have less resistance to this temptation. The person succumbed – but unlike some others – was unlucky enough to be caught.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said a car was stopped in Whitby on Wednesday near Brock Street and Starr Avenue.

The motorist was going 120 km/hr in a 50 zone.

“The driver faces several charges including Stunt Driving, Speeding & Careless Driving,” police said while reminding motorists to obey the posted speed limits.
