Teen stabber assaults officers, released on undertaking

A 15-year-old female has been arrested after a teen was stabbed in Oshawa earlier this month.

On September 19 at approximately 6:15 pm, officers responded to a call in the Glen Street and Medina Court area and located a 15-year-old victim who was suffering from injuries as a result of being stabbed. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The female suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, police said.

Investigators located the suspect on September 25. During the arrest, the suspect assaulted the arresting officers.

A 15-year-old female from Oshawa is charged with: Assault with a Weapon; Weapons Dangerous Intent; Carry Concealed Weapon and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest. She was released on an Undertaking.
