This driver had no consideration for others…

DRPS Traffic Services yesterday reported a driver, who they said had no consideration for others on the road.

The driver (top image) was stopped at Winchester Road and County Line in the Town of Whitby after being seen weaving through traffic and speeding.

And, of course, the excuse was he wanted to see his kids, and he had to go to the washroom.

“The driver had no consideration for other persons using the highway. Appropriate charges laid,” said the police.

DRPS Traffic Services also had a happy story to tell.

Our RIDE line in Bowmanville, Clarington (below image) was a success, as all of the drivers checked were sober.

However, one driver failed to stop for the officers in the line and was charged accordingly under the Highway Traffic Act.

Members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Durham were out with us thanking sober drivers.

DRPS North Division was conducting radar on Regional Road 57 in Blackstock.

Speeding 104 in a 70kmh zone is too fast. Please obey the speed limit, said the police.
