19-year old stab victim dies, police seek witnesses

A 19-year-old female has died after being stabbed outside of an Oshawa bar, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

On Sunday, December 4 at about 2:30 am, a 19-year-old victim suffered life threatening injuries following an incident out front of a bar, located at Park Road South, Oshawa. Teil-lyn Cook, of Pickering, was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre where she has since succumbed to her injuries, said the police.

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who has information or anyone that may have dashcam or cellphone footage from the bar on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

This is the 15th homicide victim of 2022 in Durham Region.
