Three arrested with drugs, released on undertakings

Durham Police investigators arrested three suspects and seized a quantity of drugs after a traffic stop in Oshawa Tuesday night.

On March 1, members of Central East Division conducted a traffic stop in the area of Centre Street North that resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old. Police seized an expandable baton, cocaine, cannabis, psilocybin and other illicit drugs, said a media release.

The three were charged with: Possession for Use in Production or Distribution of Illicit Cannabis. Possess Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking; Possess Weapon – Dangerous to Public Peace; Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling; Possess Other Controlled Substance for Purpose of Trafficking.

They were all released on Undertakings. Further details are available at www.drps.ca.
