Image of suspect who robbed online seller released

Durham Police investigators have released a photo of a suspect wanted in a knifepoint robbery that occurred in mid-February.

Surveillance images captured an image of the suspect from an incident on February 14, which occurred at the Whitby Civic Centre on Rossland Road East. The victim was attempting to sell a cellphone when he was robbed at knifepoint by the suspect, said a police statement.

The suspect in this incident is described as male Black 6’1” tall, slim build and wore a blue jacket, grey jacket and grey pants.

Anyone with new information about this incident is asked to call D/Cst. Bonner of Central West Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1854.
