Three developments with 330+ homes approved in Clarington

The Municipality of Clarington announced that council has approved three developments at the Planning and Development Committee Meeting on June 17.

The developers propose to buid a total of 332 residential units- both detached and townhouses.

A municipal statement said Tribute Communities agreed to meet parkland dedications from the Secondary Plan as approved before Bill 23:

    • PDS-027-24: Zoning By-law amendment by Tribute (Courtice) Limited to permit 139 single detached dwellings, 59 street townhouse dwellings and a regional corridor block in the area of Bloor Street and Trulls Road in Courtice. The plan also contains a neighbourhood park block, a school block, an open space block, a stormwater management block, a walkway block and roads to be dedicated to the municipality.
    • PDS-028-24: Zoning By-law amendment by Riley Park Developments Inc. (Tribute) to permit 63 single detached dwellings and 12 street townhouse dwellings on Trulls Road in Courtice. The plan also contains two open space blocks and roads to be dedicated to the municipality.

There is also PDS-030-24: Zoning By-law amendment by Plan Developments Inc. (Holland Homes) to support further processing of the draft plan of subdivision applications to permit the development of 14 single detached units, 44 townhouse units, and one retained heritage lot, for a total of 59 units. The new residential lots will be accessed off a new public street and Gord Vinson Avenue in Courtice.
