Three mid-rises, townhouses complex planned in Clarington

The Municipality of Clarington said an assisted care, condominiums, and townhouse complex is planned for development at 46 Stevens Road in Bowmanville.

“The municipality has received complete applications for an Official Plan Amendment and a Zoning By-law Amendment on behalf of VAD Retail (Kaitlin) to permit seniors’ housing,” said a statement.

“The applicant proposes a seven-storey assisted care facility, an eight-storey another assisted care facility, a 10-storey multi-unit building, and three townhouse blocks with 11 units,” it added.

It said a public meeting date has not been scheduled for this application. However, residents are encouraged to submit comments at any time. They can also request to be added to the interested party list to receive updates on this application.
