A three-vehicle collision took place on Highway 401 yesterday, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The collision took place on the westbound side of Highway 401 at Harmony Road in Oshawa at about 9:12 am.
There were three vehicles involved. A CMV (straight truck) spilled diesel across all lanes, said a Whitby OPP Highway Safety Division alert.
One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries, it said.
Highway 401 was closed at Courtice Road for cleanup and was reopen later in the day.
