There are many excuses offered to DRPS Traffic Services by errant drivers – some believable, some not so.
But among the most unusual lately was the excuse of being “too tired” given when caught for speeding.
Not 30 seconds after posting the last tweet (off the road and parked) this driver (image above) comes barreling down the 60 kmh road, said the police.
The driver was speeding because “they were too tired”.
Good thing they can sleep on the bus home, said the DRPS.
Stunt driving comes with a 14-day impoundment and 30-day driving licence suspension, it added.
