The car was fast, stylish and yellow, and could speed – and that’s what the driver did.
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday described as “too fast, too furious” a driver who was caught zipping away in Clarington.
“Too Fast, Too Furious! 136kms in an 80kms zone = 56kms over the speed limit,” said a tweet from DRPS East Division.
The violation got the driver a 14-day vehicle impound and a 30-day licence suspension.
Police warned potential stunt drivers that this violation carries of a minimum $2,000 fine and 6 demerit points.
The incident took place on Bowmanville Avenue and Clarington Concession Road 10.
