Traffic restricted for Bowmanville Avenue expansion

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on King Street and an upcoming road closure of Kings Hill Lane in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Bowmanville.

The lane restrictions and road closure is part of the Bowmanville Avenue widening and construction work. Learn more at durham.ca/BowmanvilleAveConstruction.

Traffic restrictions are on King Street, east of Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57), and Kings Hill Lane at Waverley Road in Bowmanville.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane in the east bound direction on King Street east of Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) until mid-March.

Kings Hill Lane was closed from February 20 until mid-March. Unfavorable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Local traffic and emergency services will be required to use the signed detour routes.
