Two held with drugs after disturbance call

Two suspects were arrested after police responded to a disturbance call in Oshawa on Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at approximately 7:10 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a residence on Celina Street in Oshawa for a disturbance. Officers spoke to the involved female suspect who was arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant from a December 2020 investigation. The male suspect fled the scene on foot.

A quantity of cash, knives, bear spray and drugs, including cocaine, crystal meth, heroine and fentanyl was seized. The total street value of the drugs and cash seized is approximately $18,000.

Renee MICHEL, age 32, of Cordova Road in Oshawa, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4; Possess Weapons Dangerous; Carry Concealed Weapon Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possess Prohibited Weapon Knowing Possession Prohibited. She was held for a bail hearing.

On Wednesday May 5, 2021, investigators arrested John MCLEAN, age 33, of Celina Street in Oshawa, he is charged with: Damage/Mischief to Property under $5,000; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4 and Possess Weapons Dangerous. He was released on an Undertaking.
