Two men held for Durham’s first murder of 2022

Durham Police investigators have laid charges against two male suspects in relation to a homicide in January.

On August 23, investigators from the DRPS Major Crime – Homicide Unit arrested and charged a 19-year-old suspect of Toronto with Second Degree Murder.

A 25-year old suspect of Peterborough was arrested and charged with Accessory After the Fact to the Offence of Murder.

Both males were held in custody. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.

A 20-year-old male was found deceased with obvious signs of trauma on a residential street in Oshawa on January 3. Police arrived to find the male victim without vital signs in a white Toyota vehicle. The victim was rushed to a local hospital but later died. Homicide and Forensic investigators were called to the scene.
