Unconscious man on Oshawa street, Uxbridge disturbance…

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday determined that a man found unconscious on a street in Oshawa, had suffered a medical episode.

Earlier, the police had described him as a victim. “Members of DRPS Central East Division are holding a scene at a plaza on Park Road and Malaga Road after they located an unconscious male at approximately 1:30 am. The victim was taken to a trauma centre and the investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses to contact 905-579-1520.”

However, later, after officers concluded the investigation, police said it was determined that the male had a medical episode and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his injuries.

Meanwhile, in Uxbridge, police said members of DRPS North Division were at the scene of a disturbance at a residence on Allbright Road and Brock Road.

One male was located with serious injuries and transported to a trauma centre in Toronto.

“This is an isolated incident,” police said.
