Unlicenced driver caught 30kmh above speed limit

“Gimme speed” seems to be mantra of some Durham drivers irrespective of the road conditions – or licence status.

But the ever-watchful officers of the Durham Regional Police service (DRPS), life in wait for just such brazen drivers.

Yesterday, officers from DRPS North Division reported two drivers speeding at 95 and 90 kmh in a 60 zone in Scugog.

That is too fast, they said.

One driver was also unlicenced. Please obey the speed limit, they added.
