Up to 10cm of snow overnight to make morning roads slippery

There is a winter weather travel advisory from Environment Canada in effect for Monday November 17.

Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will impact the area. 5-10cm of snow accumulations is expected.

Snow was expected to start overnight through Monday morning. Conditions are expected to improve by near noon on Monday, although flurries will likely continue into Monday afternoon.

Environment Canada said the Monday morning commute may be impacted. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.

Road conditions is expected to be slippery and slow with scattered flurries throughout the day.
