The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Westney Road South in the Town of Ajax.
When: The week of June 21. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Westney Road South (Regional Road 31) from 50 metres north of Fuller Road to 50 metres south of Fuller Road, in the Town of Ajax. This will only affect the northbound curb lane.
Why: Lane restrictions will be in place to safely install a sanitary sewer and watermain as part of the Fuller Road reconstruction project.
Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
Oshawa
The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure of Windfields Farm Drive East, east of Simcoe Street North in the City of Oshawa.
When: June 22 until June 25. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Road closure on Windfields Farm Drive East, east of Simcoe Street North in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To complete road reconstruction work within the intersection in a safe and efficient manner.
Note: Traffic detour signs will be posted in advance of the closure.
