The City of Oshawa has announced road closures for the upcoming Santa’s Parade of Lights and Bright and Merry Market.
Road closures for Santa’s Parade of Lights will be on Saturday November 19 and will cover:
- King Street between Stevenson Road and Gibbons Street from 3 pm to 9 pm.
- King Street between Gibbons Street and Simcoe Street from 5 pm to 9 pm.
- Simcoe Street between Athol Street and Bond Street from 5 pm to 9 pm.
- Bond Street between Simcoe Street and Stevenson Road from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The Bright and Merry Market will be hosted by the City of Oshawa featuring entertainment, vendors, food, Santa, tree lighting and more on Thursday November 17, 2022 between 2 pm and 11 pm.
Road closures for the event will include:
Centre Street between King Street and John Street
Athol Street between Centre Street and Simcoe Street
Bagot Street between Queen Street and Simcoe Street
Metcalfe Street between Centre Street and Simcoe Street
