Homicide unit called to investigate sudden death

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) reported a case of a ‘sudden death’ on Saturday.

It said police were at the scene at a residence on Winlord Place in Oshawa, for a sudden death investigation.

The homicide unit has been called in. There is no risk to public safety, said the police.

Further updates will be provided once they become available, said a brief tweet.
