Violent home invaders pistol-whip and rob woman

Durham Police investigators are looking for two suspects and are appealing for witnesses following a violent home invasion that occurred in Pickering.

On Friday, February 10 at about 9:30 am, members of West Division responded to an address on Engel Court in Pickering after two males broke into a home and pistol whipped a female. The males stole a quantity of items and may have fled in a blue Honda Civic. A female sustained facial injuries and was transported to local area hospital for treatment, said a police statement.

Police now have two images of the male believed to be involved (see above and below).

The males are described as:

Suspect #1: male, Black (light skinned), 17-22 years, 6” tall, athletic build with twisted shoulder length dark hair.

Suspect #2: male, Black (dark skinned), 5’11” tall, athletic build and short hair.

Police are encouraging anyone with information or video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to come forward.
