Driver manages to land his vehicle on top of another

Durham Police said a 29-year-old male is facing drug- and driving-related charges after crashing his vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Ajax.

On Saturday, February 11 at about 9:30 am, members from West Division attended an address on Stannardville Drive for reports of a male that had lost control and crashed his vehicle, landing on top of an unoccupied motor vehicle.

The driver, who was out on bail at the time, fled the area on foot but was located a short time later by police. He had a quantity of cocaine and heroin in his possession at the time of his arrest, police said.

The suspect from from Ajax was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
