A new residential development is proposed to be build in Ajax, according to the town.
The proposed site is located at 836 Riverside Drive.
A Zoning By-law Amendment Application (Z4/22) has been submitted by Coughlan Homes, to support Land Division Applications and to further facilitate the development.
The application proposed building of a single detached dwelling on five new parcels. A total of 5 dwellings are proposed, said the town.
The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the subject property with site-specific Exceptions to facilitate the development of five single detached dwellings, it added.
It invited residents to attend a virtual public open house (via Zoom) to learn more about this development proposal, identify any concerns, and to provide comments. The virtual public open house is scheduled for March 7 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Area residents within 120 metres of the subject property will be notified directly by mail and an ad will be placed in the local newspaper.
