What do you get when you have a car load of teens?

DRPS Traffic Services come across a lot of things during the course of their work in the spread-out Region of Durham. Some are happy ones such a Ride night with no charges, some sad one and some crazy ones too.

But is it indeed a thing to be thankful for to have a car load of teens zipping along our frozen roads at night – and nothing happens to them… apart from  the fine, the impound and licence suspension.

“A car load of teenagers, double the speed limit on a two-lane road, in the dark. We’ve all heard stories like this that end in tragedy. Thankfully, this young driver only ended up with a few tickets, a vehicle impound and a license suspension. It could have been much worse,” said the police on Friday.

No further details were released.
