The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced the temporary reopening of Winchester Road (Regional Road 3) in Brooklin for the winter season.
It will reopend from Durham Street/Chelmsford Drive to east of Watford Street/Anderson Street.
However, minor lane restrictions will remain in place until mid-December for worker safety.
The full eastbound lane closure will be re-implemented in April 2025 and continue until September 2025, said a region notice.
The road closure is part of a project to widen and rehabilitate Winchester Road.
