Woman charged for theft of landscaping equipment

Durham Police investigators located stolen landscaping equipment after a break and enter at a rural property in Claremont, north Pickering, over the weekend.

On July 25 at about 1:30 am, members of West Division responded to a break and enter at a yard on Old Brock Road in Claremont. The suspect(s) had broken into the yard and stole a truck, trailer, and lawnmower equipment. Officers attended quickly and located one of the suspects and the stolen truck and trailer.

On the evening of July 25, investigators executed two search warrants, one on Sideline 20 and another on Sideline 12. Police recovered over $120,000 in equipment and tools during the execution of the search warrants, said a police statement.

The suspect from Stouffville was charged and released on an Undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
