Woman flees after stabbing man at Ajax home

A 21-year-old male suffered injuries after a stabbing during an altercation at a residence in Ajax on Monday morning.

On September 26 at approximately 9:50 am, members of West Division responded to a stabbing involving a 21-year-old male victim. Police arrived and located the male suffering a serious but non-life threatening injury. The victim was taken to a Toronto trauma center, said a police statement.

A female suspect fled the residence. The K-9 Unit assisted and searched the residential area with negative results. This is an isolated incident and parties are known to each other, it added.

Police are looking for witnesses or any evidence that would assist in identifying the involved female.
