A residential development comprising a 10-storey building and a 3-storey townhouse block with a total of 198 units, is being planned to be built in southern part of Ajax.
“The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Official Plan Amendment and Zoning Bylaw Amendment applications submitted by Bousfields Inc. on behalf of Matrix Development Group, to facilitate the future development of vacant lands located at 101 Pickering Beach Road and 235 Bayly Street East,” said a town statement.
It said the applications are to permit a residential development within a 10-storey building and a 3-storey townhouse block with a total of 198 units. The proposal provides for a total residential gross floor area of 17,250 m2 (185,678 ft2), two levels of underground parking and a small supply of surface parking.
The town is holding a public open house to provide more details about this development proposal, identify any concerns, and to provide comments. The public open house will be held electronically on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 pm.
Participants will need to register in advance. Once registered, a link to the Zoom webinar will be provided by e-mail. For those that are unable to attend, the public open house will be recorded and made available for viewing on the town website.
