$480,000 in drugs, cash seized + swat unit in another raid

A male is in custody following a drug investigation that saw more than $480,000 worth of drugs seized from a residence in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, May 1, members of the Community Response team, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit, concluded an investigation into a male believed to be involved in drug trafficking.

A search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Glen Street and Porter Street, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Cash and drugs with a street value of over $480,000 were seized, police said.

The suspect, age 48 from Oshawa was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Tactical team in drug raid

Another male is in custody following the conclusion of a drug investigation that saw more drugs seized from another Oshawa residence.

On Thursday, April 25, members of the Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Albert Street and Elena Avenue, following the conclusion of a drug investigation.

A male associated to the residence was taken into custody without incident. Cash and drugs were located in the residence and seized (image above), police said.

The suspect, age 53 from Oshawa was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
