A drug trafficking investigation in Oshawa led to the arrest of a man and woman as well seizing of over $50,000 worth of fentanyl, say police.
On Thursday, April 16, East Crime Team investigators, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit, Tactical Support Unit, and Community Response Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Oshawa following an investigation into drug trafficking.
A man and woman were located in the residence and taken into custody without incident. A quantity of drugs, including fentanyl, valued at over $50,000 was located and seized.
The 34-year old woman and 31-year old man, both from Oshawa were held for a bail hearing. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
